Mark Doe visited the 3rd Year Home Economics students today Friday 3rd March to give them an exciting two hour workshop on various dishes suited to their 3rd Year skills and the Junior Cert Home Economics Cookery exam. All students prepared, cooked and served different dishes and Mark helped them throughout each stage of the process. He demonstrated chopping skills, making garnishes and decorating sweet dishes as well as illustrating how to flavour dished correctly. “it was a huge learning experience by the students who thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it” according to Home Economics teacher Ms. Máire Keane.
Thank you Mark for a wonderful day with delicious results.
